I found this great project whilst searching instructables.com a while back. It is called Out Of This Wall and was designed by Philipp Stollenmayer of kamibox.de. I had some spare time, so armed with a tube of UHU glue and 40 sheets of card, I set out to construct a life-size model of a human torso bursting through a wall. It took several days to cut out, score and glue all the intricate parts and I was really pleased with the results. I decided to reverse all the folds, so all the printed guides are inside the model and not visible. This project was where I was first introduced to Meshlab and Pepakura, and there is a great instructable here to guide you through making your own faceted paper objects.
